Hey, everyone. No news today, hopefully some pictures from Danielle in Seattle this weekend will pop up soon. I changed the layout and it's definitely something I've never done before. I've added recent headlines and even Danielle's song "No More" at the top, so make sure to take a listen if you haven't yet! Let me know what you think. I might be making more changes but it won't be too drastic.

No real news today, everyone, I hope you won't mind my shameless promotion. I recently decided to open my first design site, Gleaming Sky Designs. If you have a website, forum, what have you, and need a layout or a graphic for it, head on over and check out the packages I have to offer. I've been designing since 2003, so I thought it was about time I offered up my services to others. I have over 100 layouts up at my portfolio to check out. American Primitive will be screening at the Seattle Film Festival the middle of June. Danielle will be attending the event, so maybe we'll get some new pictures and hopefully, the film wins some awards. Nothing really new happening with her right now, there are a ton of articles online about the film and interviewing Danielle. I've posted a few excerpts below since they pretty much all state the same.
From Simi Valley Acorn: "My mom's support came when I worked," she said. "She saw how much I loved it and how I had an ability to do it. . . . She's been supportive since the beginning." Her dad took a little more time to get used to the idea of his little girl trading college for Hollywood. But for Savre, the decision felt right. "There's something about being on set, when you're playing another character, interacting with other people," she explained. "There's something about it like you're meant to be there."
From WriteWay: What was your favorite episode or storyline on Summerland?
That’s a good question. I want to say that one of my favorite episodes was probably with me and Jesse (McCartney) first meeting on the beach. Then probably the episode where he gave me the horse. I loved that show. It was my first television show where I got to work my acting chops off. I always remember the scene where I slapped him too. [Read More]

Wow, sorry for the lack of updates the past month, but nothing has been happening in the world of Danielle worth noting. I have been adding pictures to the gallery, so make sure and check that regularly. I do have some news today though. Danielle recently did an interview with Starshine Magazine, read it below.
"You may have seen her in “Bring it On: All or Nothing”, featured in the TV show “Summerland” with heartthrob, Jesse McCartney, and MTV television hit show, “Kaya”. These are just some of the few shows and movies Danielle Savre has been featured in. This 20-year-old singer and actress has been working on her singing career with professionals who have worked with Britney Spears and Avril Lavigne. In 2006, Danielle’s career skyrocketed with a recurring role in the hit NBC TV show “Heroes” alongside Hayden Panettiere. Lately Danielle has been working on her newest project, “American Primitive”, so be sure to keep a look out for that movie to soon release!" [Read More]

"On Saturday, April 25, 2009, actress Danielle Savre is set to participate in Walk Now for Autism, a fundraising event presented by Autism Speaks. Savre among other entertainers, volunteers and families will walk 3.1 miles around the Pasadena Rose Bowl in support of those affected by autism. “Being a part of this event is a must for me. I am a big advocate for autism awareness. My mother has worked with autistic children all her life and a close friend of the family has a child with autism. I support research and developments in what can be done to help explain autism-- it’s all about the children.”
Savre can currently be seen in her star role as Madeline Goodhart in the independent film “American Primitive,” which received high praise at the Palm Springs International Film Festival and is now entered for the 2009 Seattle International Film Festival. Savre is most notably known for her work in “Heroes,” as the lead role of Kaya, in the well-respected MTV television hit show, “Kaya ,” and Jessie McCartney’s love interest Callie in the hit television show “Summerland.”
Walk Now for Autism, the nation's largest autism walk program, is Autism Speaks' signature fundraising and awareness event. This successful grassroots fundraising effort not only generates vital funds for autism research but also raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder. Two Danielle articles were posted recently and I've added them below. Make sure and read them both, you're sure to learn something new.
"How did things change as you moved into your teens? Was it hard to be so “visible” during your years of puberty?
As I got older I just started to take it more seriously and had to deal more with girls at school that didn’t like me for whatever reason. I think it was hard is still hard to transition from a child to and adult with so many eyes watching you. Trying to have people view you as a lady instead of a girl is still a challenge sometimes. Other than that though, honestly, the hardest part was just have to make grown up decisions about what jobs to take and who to represent me and how I was going to manage getting ahead in school to graduate early while still have a normal teen life." "One thing is for certain- Danielle is a young star to watch in 2009. Continuing her endless drive to pursue her acting and musical career, she is also acting on her passion for directing, writing, theatre, and dance. She has already begun writing movie scripts and hopes to excel in the industry reaching even greater heights. What more could a girl do? If there’s morewe’re sure Danielle will figure it out and do it with stride!" [Read More]
